                  FROM LIPSTICK SIX

“Yes, thank you Doug, your passion is incredible. You are my first artist,” Leah says as she gives him a big kiss and a hug. She gathers her clothes and makes her way to the bathroom.
“No.”   “Thank you, ladies”.  “I hope this doesn’t interfere with our business deal,” Doug says as he looks into Joanna's eyes while she is playing with Doug’s chest hair.
“Doug, this isn’t going to affect our business. If anything, it seals the deal more. Your paintings are great. This was just something that happened. In fact, what got me going was we were a bit nosey and checked out what was on your camera. Please don’t be upset.” She tells this as she sits up besides Doug.
“My camera?”  “That is the thing that made all this happen? I never thought it was that good, though it does make my creative side break new ground for me.” He replies with a smile and does some thinking.
“I was wondering, this sounds silly --- Could you do that with me? Then you can do some paintings. I will pay you top dollar for this. I can’t speak for Leah. I hope she would join in this also.  I will have to ask that you destroy the video once it is done. You know I have a high profile to worry about,” Joanna says as she starts to grab her clothes.
“I would be really honored to do this. You have my word that this will never leave my studio, or house for that matter,” He replies as he gets up and grabs some clothes himself.
“Leah, would you be interested in doing the thing he did on the video?” Joanna asks Leah in the bathroom.
“I have named that ‘Lipstick Six,’” Doug replies about what she calls the video.
“Yes, would love to do what we saw in the video. Lipstick Six?” Leah asks, as she walks to the bathroom door entrance.
“Yeah, I have six brushes that I only use for the body painting. Micah kind of helped with the name of it.” Doug answers as he puts his shirt on.
“I hope this doesn’t make the whole Micah thing more complicated.” Joanna says in the background as she enters the bathroom.
“I really just would have sex with her. We have been doing it for over a year now. She is more involved with Deb, who by the way, you have met. I will actually end this later with her. Deb has intervened too many times,” Doug says as he heads to the kitchen to get a glass of water.
“Poor guy he deserves a better woman than that. Imagine all that passion being wasted on an unappreciative woman.” Leah says as she fixes her hair in the mirror.  Joanna, working on her makeup, stops for a moment.
“You are falling for him? Be careful. Creative ones like him have a higher commitment. They are great lovers. Most creative ones get bored with relationships easy.  Not saying it cannot be done.  Plus, with you being a writer, this could be a real help to you,” Joanna replies as she looks to see how she reacts.
“I am not sure if I am falling for him or if it’s just this whole setting and how things occurred, but when he walked in the shop this morning, I do have to say, he sparked something in me,” Leah says as she walks out of the bathroom.
“Leah, don’t move too quickly here. We just shared him. Enjoy this moment and then look to see if something is to come of this.” Joanna says as she turns from the mirror, talking through the door.
“Ladies would you like anything? Drink? Food?” Doug asks, as he sits down at his bar that faces the living room. Tortus jumps up on the bar and comes to Doug and pushes his head into Doug’s chin.
“Oh, look at the kitty! I could take some water,” Leah says as she walks through the living-room and goes over to where Tortus is. She gives Tortus a pat on the head and looks at Doug and gives him a small kiss on the lips.
“This is Tortus. He has been with me for like eight years now,” Doug says as he gives back a kiss to Leah and gets up and walks to the fridge and pours some water out of the pitcher he keeps in there.
“He is beautiful! Tortus, you are a lucky kitty aren’t you,” Leah says as she sits down at the bar.
“Wow, you must have a way with him. He usually doesn’t warm up to strangers. Once the ice is broken though, he will drive you crazy for attention,” he replies as he watches Tortus enjoy Leah patting him and scratching his head, purring loudly.
“He just knows I am a cat lover. Don’t you, Tortus?” She asks with a big smile on her face. Joanna walks out of the bathroom and into the living room. Doug gives her a smile. He grabs his cigarettes from the kitchen counter.
“Do you mind if I have one in here? I can go outside if you like?” Doug asks as he puts one in his lips.
“We have been around worse. I don’t mind, but maybe Leah would.” Joanna replies as she sits down and puts her shoes back on.
“I don’t mind either.  In fact, may I have one also?” Leah asks as she reaches for one.
“Maybe we should open the kitchen window a little so Joanna doesn’t get all the second hand smoke.” Doug replies while handing Leah a cigarette.
“You really don’t have to do that for me. I have to say I really feel more relaxed now. How ‘bout you, Doug?” Joanna saying this with a big smile on her face, while walking towards Doug.
“It’s something that makes me want to paint you in a way that will enhance your beauty” Doug says as Joanna gives him a huge hug and sensual kiss.  “Doug, no need for the charm; speaking of inspiration, when shall we start the – oh what did you call it? Yes, ‘Lipstick Six.’ When would that be good? I planned on being up here for the week or so” Joanna says as she slowly releases her hug. She walks over to the pitcher of cold water to pour a glass.
“We can start tomorrow, if it’s ok with you two?” He asks as he lights his cigarette.  He then walks over to the coffee maker and pours a cup. Leah has been giving Tortus lots of attention. The cat seems to be in euphoric pleasure.
