The cost of free

   Being a writer and an author I find lots of free books. I guess it must work, I just have a hard time spending months on a book and some money to get it edited to give for free. I just don’t get this. I know I like to have readers and followers but when you give something for free and they never even leave a bad review I find this very unethical. Being an independent author, this actually sets me back and wonder is it worth to even think about sharing. I am not bitter would love to know if the market is flooded with free books then who is buying? I do the kindle promotions and would think that a few would have some scruples and give a simple review, if it is bad than just right what was wrong in the review. Someday the answer will come along and then maybe I will understand this whole give away free and then the perfect utopia will be understood. I wonder how many people would go to their job for three to six months and not get paid. Plus never get a good job or hey you need to improve on certain areas. I am curious how many writers, authors and for this matter any arts. Like the books this will go uncommented on and look for the next cat video. P.S. I l do like cats.
